"Letters from Home"

Step back in time to an era of war bonds, rations, scrap drives, swing music and GI’s. This story of three ladies living during the 1940’s is brought to life thru the music made popular by the Andrews Sisters and woven with actual letters written during this time in our history.

How these ladies lives and relationships changed during WWII includes narrations of love lost and found, a yearning for a return to a normal life and the strength and determination of those living back home to help with the war efforts!

‘Letters from Home’ is an entertaining reflection back to a generation of honor, glory, courage, sacrifice and pride for the American people. Please join Reveille 3 with Anne, Christine and Marnie on this sentimental journey!

THE CMC IS THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE OUR NEWEST PROJECT: REVEILLE 3.

Our

Not simply a tribute concert, “Letters from Home” reaches into the hearts of all those who lived through WWII, telling their story in a meaningful and delightful way. Created by Marnie Ward, the show entertains with the delightful harmonies of the era the touching letters written by soldiers and their “girls back home.”

One of the goals of Reveille 3 is to bring meaningful entertainment to underserved audiences in retirement communities, rehabilitation facilities, and hospices---specifically medicare/medicaid based facilities. With over 1,000 deaths per day in the 'Greatest Generation' that ever lived, we feel an urgency to share this heartfelt story with those who lived through this historic time in America.

The impact of this performance is truly powerful. Retirement facility activities directors have said that it opens a line of discussion for those who served in WWII to present day wars. Audience members start talking about experiences they've never brought up before to friends, family members or colleagues. When we have returned to the same facility to do a second or third show, we notice that the residents have then invited their families to join them for the event too! Veterans of many wars begin to share their own service stories with their children, grandchildren and friends.

Reveille 3 performs in a wide variety of settings including senior centers, parks, libraries, hangar dances and fundraisers throughout the front range.

Help us bring Reveille 3 to underserved communities by making your tax deductible donation to the CMC earmarked for Reveille 3.
